PSG Wealth is a division of PSG Financial Services, a JSE listed company that employs over 3,000 people. They offer a comprehensive wealth management service by leveraging multiple online platforms.
Product Owner, Christopher Nel, expressed how code standardization was a huge concern for PSG, where enforcing standards proved to be a challenge across the team with a substantially large and ever-growing graduate program.
With Intent Architect, they are able to achieve complete standardization across 30+ microservice automatically. Every microservice looks the same, feels the same, runs the same, and is deployed the same way. Chris also explains that when creating a new Operational Data Store, they were able to get the framework down in only 2 weeks with a graduate, which was originally scheduled to take more senior developers 180-200 hours. That is at least 2.5x faster with a very inexperienced developer. PSG has used Intent Architect to write every backend project since and aren’t looking back.
